What is the difference between CAT 4 LOWER and CAT 4 UPPER?

The price is the same, RM480. LOWER is the back rows of the lower level, behind CAT 3; UPPER is the front of the upper level, sections 401–407 and 417–420.

Which sections are CAT 3?

The front rows of the lower level: 301–307 and 318–322.

Is the plan the same for 19 and 20 December?

Yes. The promoter’s plan shows both dates, with the same categories and prices.

Can I choose my section or seat?

No. You choose the category and quantity; seat details appear from 11 December 2026.

What do two CAT 4 tickets really cost?

RM983.76: RM960 for the tickets, RM12 booking fees, a RM10 transaction fee and RM1.76 SST.

A-Lin 《歌迹 Journey》 Kuala Lumpur seating plan: where CAT 1 to CAT 5 are, for 19 and 20 December

Update 24 Oct: the general sale at noon on 13 October (Malaysia time) on Fantopia has passed. Before it, the organiser and Fantopia said CAT 4–5 pre-registrations far exceeded the tickets and suggested CAT 1–3 (Oriental Daily, 12 Oct). The 19 December show sold out on its 6 October sale day. On Fantopia you choose only a category, not a section or a seat, so the plan is what tells you what you are buying. This page reads the promoter’s official plan, which now shows both shows: Saturday 19 December, 8 PM (sold out) and Sunday 20 December, 5 PM, on general sale Tuesday 13 October at 12 noon Malaysia time. The plan is the same for both nights.

The official plan

The stage is at one end of Unifi Arena, with a T-shaped runway reaching into the floor. The floor (内场) has two categories; the stands (看台) have three, across the lower level (the 300 sections) and the upper level (the 400 sections).

Each category, section by section

CAT 1, RM880 (floor, pink): two blocks either side of the runway, starting at the front of the stage. The closest category to the stage.
CAT 2, RM780 (floor, orange): two blocks right behind CAT 1. FOH (the sound and lighting desk) is behind CAT 2.
CAT 3, RM680 (yellow): the front rows of the lower level, with 301, 302 and 303 at the end facing the stage, 304 and 322 in the corners, 305–307 on the right side and 318–321 on the left.
CAT 4, RM480 (light green), two lines on Fantopia at one price: CAT 4 (LOWER) is the back rows of the lower level, behind CAT 3; CAT 4 (UPPER) is the front of the upper level, sections 401–407 and 417–420.
CAT 5, RM280 (dark green): the back strip of the upper level. For 20 December, Fantopia notes that CAT 5 seats may not be together.

The plan shows no seats beside or behind the stage. On the left of the lower level, next to 318 and 319, are grey blocks marked CS1, CS2 and MEDIA; the wheelchair sign is by 304 (wheelchair tickets through support@fantopia.io).

Choosing a category

The plan is not to scale, so what follows is a reading of its layout, not a promise about the view:

Closest to the stage: CAT 1, with the runway between its two blocks.
Facing the stage head-on: CAT 2 on the floor, or CAT 3 sections 301–303 at the far end, behind FOH.
The stand seats nearest the stage: CAT 3 sections 307 and 318, at the ends of the sides closest to it; the view is from the side.
On a budget: CAT 4 LOWER or UPPER at one price, or CAT 5 at the very back.
Height: the note on the plan says CAT 4 and CAT 5 are high up, and advises anyone afraid of heights or with a heart condition, pregnant women, young children and anyone prone to dizziness to avoid them. Fantopia’s notice names sections 401–420.

Fantopia’s sale notice says some categories have limited stock and suggests choosing another for a better chance: settle a second category before 13 October.

Each order adds a RM6 booking fee per ticket, a RM10 transaction fee and 8% SST on the fees. Totals for 1 and 2 tickets:

Seat details appear in the Fantopia account from 11 December 2026.
Tickets stay in the account and cannot be transferred; everyone in a booking enters with the account holder, at the same time, in the same zone and category.
