How to buy tickets on Fantopia
Fantopia is the exclusive seller for BIGBANG at TM Stadium Nasional, Bukit Jalil, on Saturday 9 January 2027 (sold out) and the added Sunday 10 January 2027, promoted by AEG Presents Asia and iMe Malaysia with YG Entertainment. For many fans it is a first encounter with the platform, so this says plainly what is certain and what must be checked on the show page itself.
Fantopia and what sells there
Fantopia is a ticketing and fan-experience platform selling many Malaysian shows, BIGBANG Kuala Lumpur among them (besides Fantopia, 9 January also had a Trip.com presale on 21 September). Tickets for this show sell only through Fantopia: anything offered elsewhere before the on-sale is not an official channel.
Show-specific detail (on-sale date, tiers, prices, limits) lives in the "BIGBANG Kuala Lumpur tickets" guide and on the show page. This guide is only about using the platform.
Fantopia is also the only seller for A-Lin’s 《歌迹 Journey》 in Kuala Lumpur (19 December 2026, sold out, and an added 20 December show on sale 13 October; promoted by Star Fortress), under quite different rules: no seat choice, tickets that stay in the buyer’s account, and a group that enters with the account holder. Every show on Fantopia has its own notice and terms; read them before the sale.
The general flow
- Create a Fantopia account by email, verify it, use your passport name. Do it the day before, and stay logged in.
- Enter the waiting room before the hour. For a show this size, positions are almost certainly drawn at random when the doors open: early gives no better number, but late gives none.
- Once admitted: choose a tier and complete payment within the time limit.
- The e-ticket lands in your account; activation and use at the gate follow the show’s instructions.
Four things to read on the show page before the on-sale
- Payment: it varies by show. Fantopia’s FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay, Malaysian wallets, and Vietnam’s MoMo, VNPay and ZaloPay too; check which your show opens.
- Name on ticket: for BIGBANG, every ticket carries the attendee’s name and ID number, the original ID is checked, and no transfers are allowed; tickets are single-use QR codes in the app, and screenshots are not accepted.
- Limits per account and per transaction.
- Collection: fully electronic, or exchanged for a wristband at the venue within a window.
Why this show needs more preparation than usual
BIGBANG is a name large enough for demand to dwarf supply at every Asian stop. For a show like that, the gap between getting a ticket and not lies in your queue position (which you cannot control) and in having everything ready to pay within the few minutes you are admitted (which you control completely).
Plainly: no service, ours included, can promise a ticket for this show. What improves the odds is more real people on real accounts entering the queue, and someone at a screen when you cannot be.
If you miss the on-sale
Wait for the promoter to announce additional tiers or releases before thinking about resale. If you do buy resale, read the guide on doing it safely: big shows are when scams work hardest, in the hour after tickets run out.
