16 tickets in 8 orders

The show’s booking confirmations album holds 8 booking confirmations, each one an order of 2 tickets on Fantopia:

• CAT 1 × 2 in one order dated 6 October, RM1,783.76. The floor category nearest the stage.
• CAT 4 (UPPER) × 2 in six orders, all dated 6 October, RM983.76 each: 12 tickets on the upper level.
• One more order of 2, from the Fantopia app, USD 241.69 in total, awaiting issue (Pending Issuance). That screenshot does not show its category.

Order numbers and times are partly covered, but each picture is Fantopia’s own order page: the show, the number of tickets, the total and the order status.

What an order of 2 really cost

The price on Fantopia’s list is not what you pay. From Tao Meo’s own receipts:

• CAT 1 × 2: 2 × RM880 = RM1,760, plus RM23.76 in fees = RM1,783.76.
• CAT 4 × 2: 2 × RM480 = RM960, plus RM23.76 in fees = RM983.76.
• That RM23.76: a RM6 booking fee for each ticket, a RM10 transaction fee for the order, and 8% SST on the fees, that is (2 × 6 + 10) × 1.08.

Paying with a foreign card, your bank may add its own conversion fee on top.

Sale day, 6 October

The queue opened close to the hour, nearly every category showed no seats within the first seconds, and tickets came through only by pressing Add to cart again and again. Today, 7 October: Fantopia and Tao Meo

• Fantopia: the 19 December show is still Sold Out in every category, a waitlist only. Fantopia now lists an added show, Sunday 20 December at 5 PM, on general sale Tuesday 13 October at 12 noon: details.
• Tao Meo’s CAT 1: our two tickets (RM1,400 each) have sold.
• Tao Meo’s CAT 4: only a few left; since 17 October RM600 a ticket (down from RM700). Message us for how many.
