How to buy on Yes24 Global

Alongside Interpark, Yes24 sells most of the concerts and fanmeetings staged in Korea. What makes it worth knowing from abroad: it has a Global site built for overseas buyers — though the allocation behind it is smaller than you would hope.

Yes24 Ticket vs Yes24 Global

Yes24 Ticket is the domestic system, tied to Korean identity verification. Yes24 Global is a separate gateway for overseas buyers, in English and a few other languages, registered with a passport.

Not every show opens on Global. When one does, it is usually a separate allocation for international fans — much smaller than the domestic pool and gone in seconds for a popular act.

Check this before anything else: does the organiser’s notice say tickets are sold to overseas fans, and where.

Preparing the account

  • Register on Yes24 Global with your name exactly as on your passport. Korean concerts check ID at collection routinely.
  • Confirm your email before the on-sale day.
  • An international card with overseas transactions enabled.
  • Korea is UTC+9 — two hours ahead of Vietnam.

Fanclub presale vs general sale

Many Korean concerts run a fanclub presale before the general sale. The presale is usually domestic-only and requires membership — overseas fans either cannot join it or must go through the agency’s global fanclub system.

The general sale on Global is the realistic door for most buyers from Vietnam. Getting in depends on the queue position drawn when the doors open, not on who arrived first.

Collection

The most common arrangement for Global tickets is collection at the venue on the day, against the named buyer’s passport. Some shows issue e-tickets, but do not assume it.

This detail decides whether proxy buying works at all: a ticket in someone else’s name at a counter that checks passports leaves you without a ticket. Ask before booking, and ask whoever buys for you.

Why proxy services exist in this market

Not because Yes24 is hard to use. Because for a popular show the Global allocation vanishes in seconds and most tickets sit in the domestic system — which needs Korean identity verification that nobody in Vietnam has.

If your show is on Global and not oversubscribed, buy it yourself. If it is domestic-only, there is no trick — only real people in Korea with real accounts.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Global allocation large?

Usually small. The international quota is a fraction of the total, and for popular acts it is gone in seconds.

Can I register on domestic Yes24?

It is tied to Korean identity verification — a Korean phone number and domestic ID. There is no legitimate way around that from Vietnam.

Whose passport collects the ticket?

The person named on the order. This is why proxy buying only works when a show allows collection by someone else or issues e-tickets — ask first.
