How to buy tickets on Interpark

Two Interparks, and this is the deciding factor

There is a version for overseas buyers (Global, in English) and the domestic sales system used inside Korea.

Not every show opens on Global, and where it does the overseas allocation is usually much smaller. Many high-demand shows sell through the domestic system only.

Check this first, before creating any account: does your show sell to overseas buyers at all. If it does not, every other preparation is beside the point.

Why buyers get blocked

Korean domestic ticketing is tied to identity verification for residents, typically a Korean phone number and domestic ID. Without those, verification cannot be completed.

This is not something you are doing wrong and there is no trick around it. It is how the system is built, and it is the main reason proxy services exist in this market rather than others.

If your show is on Global

Where Global carries the sale it is a far easier process. Still worth preparing:

• Create the Global account and confirm your email early.
• Match the name to your passport — ID checks are common at Korean concerts.
• Have an international card with overseas transactions enabled.
• Know the on-sale time in Korean time (UTC+9).

Ballots instead of first-come sales

Some Korean shows do not sell first-come at all. Registration opens for a period, and the result is drawn afterwards.

Speed is irrelevant to that format, and anyone promising a guaranteed ticket for a balloted show is simply wrong. The only thing that moves the odds is the number of valid entries.

Collection and entry

Korean concerts commonly issue tickets at the venue on the day, exchanged against the named buyer’s ID. Some use e-tickets, but do not assume it.

This matters more than people expect when hiring help: if the ticket is in someone else’s name and the gate checks ID, the problem appears at the door. Ask before booking, and ask whoever is buying for you.
