Buying on Eventpop from abroad: the account, the queue, payment and transfers

Most Thai shows sell on ThaiTicketMajor, but some choose Eventpop, such as Fort Thitipong’s FORTREASURE Beyond The Horizon concert. For a buyer outside Thailand Eventpop has two kind features: electronic tickets, and transfers inside the account when the organiser allows them. This goes step by step and marks what depends on the show.

What Eventpop is

Eventpop (eventpop.me) is a Thai ticketing and event platform, on the web and as an app, with an English version. Concerts, fanmeetings, music festivals and conferences sell there. The organiser of each show picks the platform, so read the official announcement to see where yours sells.

The account

  • Sign up with an email (email and password) or with Facebook, from "Log in / Sign up" at the top right.
  • Verify the account in advance. Per Eventpop, only a verified account can transfer tickets.
  • Enter your name as on your passport, since some shows check ID against the ticket.
  • Remember the email you used: tickets are tied to it, and a transferred ticket is received by email too.

The queue: Get in Queue

For a busy show, when the sale starts you press Get in Queue on the event page and your number appears on screen. Keep that tab until your turn; several tabs on one account do not move you up.

The organiser sets the sale time, and it is not always ten in the morning: FORTREASURE opened at 19:00. Set the alarm by the time on the event page; Thai time is the same as Vietnam’s.

Payment

Per Eventpop’s help pages, it accepts Visa, Mastercard, JCB and UnionPay cards (Amex only for some cards), QR PromptPay, card instalments, Alipay, WeChat Pay, TrueMoney, bank transfer, Payment Plan and ShopeePay. Card payments carry a 3% fee (Amex 4%), excluding VAT. Each show opens only some of them, shown at checkout.

From abroad, in practice that means an international card: enable online and foreign transactions beforehand, make sure the limit covers the order, and have your banking app open if the OTP arrives there. The platform fee is shown before you pay. Why cards get declined: paying for tickets abroad.

Where the ticket lives: My Wallet

  • After payment Eventpop emails a confirmation; the order is under "View Order Detail" (in your profile or My Wallet). A transferred ticket must be accepted within 48 hours, and an accepted transfer cannot be reversed.
  • The e-ticket, with a QR code, is in your account’s My Wallet and in the email. Screenshot it before the day.
  • Some events are collected at the event: on the day you show the order confirmation, printed or on your phone, with the ID the organiser asks for: an original passport for a foreigner.

Transferring a ticket

Eventpop handles this more neatly than many Thai platforms, if the organiser has switched it on for your show.

  • Who can transfer: only the owner, meaning the account whose email matches the e-ticket, and it must be verified.
  • How: open Tickets, choose "View Detail" on the ticket, press "Transfer Ticket", enter the email of the person going instead, then "Confirm".
  • The recipient signs up or logs in to Eventpop with that same email; the new ticket appears in their My Wallet and by email.
  • Deadline: set per show. FORTREASURE allows transfers until 23:59 on 24 November 2026, five days before the show.

If the show checks ID against the name on the e-ticket, a transfer is the proper way to change the name. A screenshot of a QR code changes nothing, and one code may have gone to several people. Do not buy a ticket that way. Steps per Eventpop’s transfer guide.

When to get help

If the sale is at a time you are free, your card goes through and the ticket is electronic, buy it yourself. Help is worth it when the show is heavily contested, when the sale lands while you are busy, or when a tier is seated by payment time (like FORTREASURE’s DIAMOND) and paying fast and cleanly is what decides it.
