C30 Hoa Binh Stage — address, size, and what to know before you go
Two mistakes are common with this venue: picturing an arena, and thinking it is inside Hoa Binh Theatre. Both are wrong. It is a mid-sized hall in the Hoa Binh Cultural Centre at 141 Bac Hai, a different building from the theatre on Ba Thang Hai Street.
The address, and not Hoa Binh Theatre
- Address: 141 Bac Hai, Dien Hong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City; until July 2025, Ward 14, District 10.
- The building: the Hoa Binh Cultural Centre, opened on 30 September 2020 in the C30 area of Bac Hai Street, hence the name. C30 Stage is its multi-purpose hall on the ground floor.
- Not Hoa Binh Theatre. Hoa Binh Theatre, at 240 Ba Thang Hai Street, is another building on another street. The two only share the words "Hoa Binh", and fans still warn each other because people go to the wrong one.
- Usually hosts: Vietnamese classical theatre, plays and mid-sized fanmeetings.
When you book a ride or open a map, type "C30 Bac Hai" or "141 Bac Hai", not just "Hoa Binh". A ticket that says Hoa Binh Theatre is the other place: see our Hoa Binh Theatre guide.
Capacity: why each show gives a different number
When it opened in 2020, SGGP and Tuổi Trẻ reported a hall of 500 seats, with movable seating and an equipment lift. The company that fitted it, The One, says it supplied hall chairs with movable risers. Because the chairs and risers move, the seat count follows how the organiser lays the hall out: the BounPrem Fan Meeting plan (20 December 2026) has 742 seats.
At 500 or 742 it is still a small room next to the arenas Thai fandom is used to, like Impact Arena in Bangkok. The ticket pool is small, so tiers with interaction benefits usually clear in the opening minutes, and standard tiers do not last much longer.
If your plan was to log in and see how it goes, reconsider. At this size, having the account and payment sorted beforehand counts for more than clicking quickly.
Three sections, rising to the back
The BounPrem plan puts the seats in two blocks either side of one centre aisle, rows A to X. Facing the stage, the left block runs 34 → 18 and the right 17 → 1; seats 18 and 17 are on the aisle.
Photos and videos of the hall during a show (sent to Táo Mèo on 3 October 2026) show three parts, from the stage back:
- Rows A–G on the flat floor, nearest the stage.
- Rows H–P on one low deck raising the whole section, about 0.2 m (an estimate), two blocks either side of the centre aisle; its rows are level.
- Rows Q–X on an eight-tier stand at the back, a row a tier; row X is about 2.5 m up (an estimate). The stand is in two halves, each with stepped handrails along both edges; the centre aisle and the walkways by the walls are at floor level.
- The stage sits in a frame between two maroon columns, with cream walls and hung speakers either side; the side and back walls of the hall are gold curtains, with a lighting grid overhead.
People who have sat here describe it the same way on Threads: the middle section is raised as a whole with its rows level, the back one is stepped, and from row C you look up at the stage. Pick the row and seat on your ticket in the 3D seat map of C30 Hoa Binh to see where you sit, how high your section is, and your view of the stage.
Where to sit for the view
- Rows A–G are closest but on a flat floor: a taller person in front, or the whole room standing up, blocks the view.
- Rows H–P are a little above the floor, at a middle distance from the stage.
- Rows Q–X are the farthest, about 19 to 26 m away (an estimate), but each row is a tier above the one in front, so it is easier to see over heads.
- Seats 17 and 18 are on the centre aisle in every row; on the stand at the back, the aisle edge has a handrail.
How a show splits the hall into tiers (CAT 1, 2, 3 or other names), and the prices, are each organiser’s; the hall’s three parts are the same for any show as long as the rows are laid out as above.
How recent shows divided the hall
- FORCEBOOK – HOMIES (26 July 2026, Ticketbox): LÁ, CHỒI and MẦM from the stage back, each split L and R; 6,497,960, 3,910,250 and 2,607,050 VND.
- GeminiFourth 4Ever Young (20 June 2026) and JimmySea Written in the Stars (5 September 2026): three tiers each, 6,300,000 / 3,700,000 / 2,100,000 and 6,300,000 / 3,500,000 / 2,000,000 VND, with L and R in the tier names such as CAT 1L and CAT 2R.
- DJ Mie’s Phiền Meeting (2026, Ticketbox): three tiers, Phiền Quá, Phiền Vừa and Phiền Sơ.
- BounPrem Back To You (20 December 2026): CAT 1, 2 and 3, each split L and R; the sale is in our BounPrem ticket guide.
Prices, tier names and the split belong to each organiser; the next show may divide the hall differently. The stage is built per show too: Captain Boy’s fan meeting (15 June 2025) and a cải lương show here used a P3 LED wall of about 40 m², according to the supplier, Alta Media.
Getting there
- Location: Dien Hong Ward (formerly District 10), inside the city, so motorbikes, taxis and ride-hailing all reach the door.
- Traffic: the Bac Hai area is busy in the late weekday afternoon. For an afternoon show, budget for it.
- Parking: the building was described at its opening as having basement parking, but whether it is open to an audience depends on the show. On big nights, arrive early or park nearby and walk.
- Afterwards: ride-hailing prices jump the moment everyone leaves together. Walking a block away before booking is usually faster.
What to check on your own ticket
These change from show to show, so take them from the promoter’s notice rather than from this page:
- Doors time and start time — two different things.
- Whether ID is checked, and whose name has to be on the ticket.
- Rules on cameras, outside food and drink, lightsticks and banners.
- Which entrance your tier uses, if the show splits them.
