Hoa Binh Theatre — address, capacity, and not mixing it up with C30 Stage

Hoa Binh Theatre (Nhà hát Hòa Bình) is one of Ho Chi Minh City’s large theatres, and has hosted visiting artists’ fan concerts. The common mistake is to confuse it with C30 Hoa Binh Stage, another building with Hoa Binh in its name, at 141 Bac Hai.

The basics

Address: 240 Ba Thang Hai Street (3 Tháng 2), Hoa Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Before the wards were merged, this was District 10.
Opened: 26 April 1985, on land that once belonged to the Việt Nam Quốc Tự pagoda.
Capacity: about 2,000 seats after the 270-billion-dong renovation of 2025, according to Người Lao Động. Before that, 2,035 from the reseating of 2005, and 2,500 when it opened.
Played here: for example Park Bom (2NE1)’s 2024 Park Bom Special Fan Concert in Vietnam.

The address, the opening and the 1985 and 2005 seat counts are from the Vietnamese Wikipedia article on the theatre; the count after the renovation from Người Lao Động (December 2025).

Hoa Binh Theatre and C30 Hoa Binh Stage

The two are not on the same site; they only share the words Hoa Binh. Hoa Binh Theatre is the large theatre at 240 Ba Thang Hai Street; C30 Hoa Binh Stage is the mid-sized hall of the Hoa Binh Cultural Centre, opened in 2020 at 141 Bac Hai. When you book a ride, type the address on your ticket rather than just "Hoa Binh".

At the end of 2026 there are two shows eight days apart in these two rooms: YinWar on 12 December at Hoa Binh Theatre (the poster says Hoa Binh Theatre), and BounPrem on 20 December at C30. Your ticket names the venue; read it before you set out.

The zone map for YinWar

By the organiser’s map, the ground floor is three blocks, each running from the stage back: VIP, Zone A, Zone B, Zone C. Zone D is on the 2nd floor.

Before you go

Go to the right address. Hoa Binh Theatre is 240 Ba Thang Hai Street; C30 is another building, at 141 Bac Hai.
Arrive early. Fanmeetings often have a benefit pickup and an e-ticket check; the queue of people arriving at the last minute is usually the longest.
Save your ticket code. Mobile data is unreliable in a crowd; do not wait until the door to open the app.
