Going to a concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium

Where it is

• Address: 2 Stadium Walk, Singapore 397691.
• Part of The Kallang, the sports and events precinct it shares with the National Stadium. The two are within walking distance of each other, so read which one your ticket names.
• Size: an indoor arena, far smaller than the National Stadium next door. How many it seats for a concert depends on the stage layout, and published figures differ by several thousand, so treat any single number with caution.

Take the Circle Line to Stadium (CC6) and use Exit A. The arena is a short walk from the station, with Kallang Wave Mall beside it.

The Circle Line connects to the rest of the network, so from most of the island this is one change or none.

Getting home

• Stadium station is the bottleneck. After a sold-out show, the wait just to reach the platform can be long.
• Mountbatten (CC7) is the next station along the Circle Line, and some people walk to it rather than queue at Stadium.
• Ride-hailing surges the moment a show lets out.
• Waiting 20 to 30 minutes in Kallang Wave Mall is the calmest option, and the queue at Stadium is usually gone by then.

When to arrive

• For merchandise: hours early. Popular items go before the doors open.
• Otherwise: 30 to 45 minutes before doors is enough. Bag checks add a queue of their own.

What to bring, and what not to

• ID, if your show prints or checks the buyer’s name.
• A screenshot of your ticket in case signal drops in a full arena.
• Usually not allowed: professional cameras, live streaming, and outside food and drink. Doh Kyung Soo’s show lists all three. Each show publishes its own rules.
