BIGBANG Manila — two sale rounds, and the first one is probably not yours

The show, briefly

Every date and rule below comes from the official show page on Ticketmaster PH, read on 16 September 2026. Sale schedules still change — open that page again before you act.

Philippine time (PHT) is one hour ahead of Vietnam. Vietnamese times below are already converted.

• Date: Saturday 20 February 2027.
• Venue: SMDC Festival Grounds, Parañaque City, Manila.
• Ticketing: Ticketmaster PH (ticketmaster.ph) — accounts are called SM Ticketmaster.
• Promoters: AEG Presents Asia and Ovation Productions, Inc., with YG Entertainment.

Two rounds, and which one is yours

• V.I.P Membership presale: Thursday 17 September, 10:00–23:59 PHT.
• General sale: Monday 21 September, 10:00 PHT.

The presale is not open to everyone. You need an active BIGBANG V.I.P Membership bought through the official b.stage platform, and you must have completed the survey registration. Without both, there is nothing for you to do on the 17th.

The general sale is the opposite, and this is the easy part of this date: no code required. You only need to be signed in to an SM Ticketmaster account. No lottery, no invite code, no designated bank card.

Purchase limits — the number that decides how many accounts you need

• Presale: maximum 2 tickets per account.
• General sale: maximum 4 tickets per account.

Ticketmaster states it may cancel orders that exceed the limit, and that it matches on name, email, billing address and card number — so several accounts sharing one card is the fastest way to lose all of them at once. A group larger than four needs multiple accounts and different cards, with a person at each.

Prices: not published yet, so distrust any number you see now

As of writing, the show page has not published prices for Manila. The FAQ lists what each VIP package contains, without amounts.

So if someone is quoting you a specific price for BIGBANG Manila and asking for a deposit, that figure did not come from the organiser. Prices will appear on Ticketmaster PH when the sale opens.

Three VIP packages are described: ULTIMATE (one CAT 1 standing ticket), DIAMOND (one CAT 1 reserved seat), GOLD (one CAT 1 reserved seat, fewer on-site perks). All include four photocards, a tour gift, and a laminate.

One FAQ line is worth reading twice, because it is widely misunderstood: BIGBANG does not take part in any VIP activity — the packages do not include a meet & greet or photographs with the members. You are paying for position and merchandise.

Tickets are mobile-only, which changes how you prepare

The organiser is explicit: tickets for this tour are mobile-only, accessed through a mobile browser at ticketmaster.ph. No paper tickets, no PDF to print.

The practical consequence: the account you buy with must still be yours in February 2027, with a working email and phone number. Buying through someone else’s account means borrowing that account again on the day.

Four things to finish before 21 September

Tickets are rarely lost to slow clicking. They are lost because something was missing at the payment step.

• Create and sign in to an SM Ticketmaster account now. Registering at 9:59 puts you behind by design.
• Change your password today. This is not generic advice — Ticketmaster itself warns that it periodically forces a password update, and you do not want that screen while the ticket timer counts down, because losing the session loses the seats you picked.
• An international card with headroom. This is a PHP transaction with a foreign merchant; a domestic-only card will not work. Run a small transaction beforehand so your bank does not block it for fraud at exactly the wrong moment.
• A written order of preference. Which tier first, which is the fallback, what price makes you stop. A screen giving you thirty seconds is not where you decide.

Should you hire someone to camp this

Plainly: at 10:00 on Monday 21 September, if you are free, have a working international card and a stable connection, you can do this yourself. The general round needs no code and runs no lottery. This is a show most people can handle alone.

Hiring help is worth it only against a real obstacle: you are in a meeting or a class at that hour, your card cannot pay internationally, or your group needs more than four tickets and therefore several accounts at once.

Our boundary is the same as on the other dates: we camp and buy in the official sale, the ticket carries the buyer’s name, the face value is unchanged, and the service fee is quoted up front. We do not resell tickets and do not buy on the resale market.

Expect “holding a ticket for you” posts before the sale

For a show this size, posts offering to take a deposit and hold a BIGBANG Manila ticket appear before 21 September. Nobody holds a ticket before the sale opens.

Three reasons to stop: a deposit for a ticket that does not exist yet; a specific price while the organiser has published none; or pressure to transfer immediately. And the receiving account must carry the same name as the person you are talking to.
