BIGBANG Kuala Lumpur goes on sale 22 September — prepare before, not during

The details below come from the show page on Fantopia and the announcement from iMe, which agreed at the time of writing. Sale schedules still change — check both pages before acting.

• Venue: TM Stadium Nasional, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
• Ticketing: Fantopia (fantopia.io) — the only official platform for the Kuala Lumpur date.
• Promoters: AEG Presents Asia and iMe Malaysia, with YG Entertainment.

The sale rounds

• V.I.P Membership survey: 7 Sept 10:00 → 11 Sept 23:59 MYT — closed.
• V.I.P Membership presale: 17 Sept, 10:00–23:59 MYT. Requires a code from the survey.
• Trip.com presale: 21 Sept, 10:00–23:59 MYT.
• General on-sale: 22 Sept, 10:00 MYT. Open to everyone.

Worth noting: the public sale opens at 10 AM on a Tuesday. That is the Monday-morning-meeting slot for most of the region, and it is why people miss shows they were perfectly able to buy.

Prices and purchase limits

Limits: a maximum of 2 tickets per code per account during the V.I.P Membership presale, and a maximum of 4 tickets per account during the general sale. If six of you are going, you already know you need more than one account — and each account needs a person at a screen.

One thing that is easy to misread: per the organiser, the VIP packages do not include a meet & greet. You are paying for position and merchandise, not for access.

Four things to finish before the clock starts

Tickets are rarely lost to slow clicking. They are lost at the payment step, to something missing. Almost always one of these four:

• A Fantopia account, created and signed in the day before. Registering at 9:59 is starting behind.
• An international card with room on it. This is an MYR charge from a foreign merchant. Check the online and international limits in advance — a bank declining it as suspicious at exactly that minute is a common way to lose a ticket.
• A written tier order. First choice, fallback, and the price at which you stop. A thirty-second checkout window is not the time to weigh it up.
• Flights and a bed. Concert tickets are not refundable. Before paying, be sure you can actually be in Kuala Lumpur on 9 January 2027 — airfares for that weekend move the moment tickets go on sale.

When a camping service is worth it, and when it is not

Honestly: if you are free at 10 AM that Tuesday, hold a working international card and have a stable connection, buy it yourself. There is no lottery round here and no physical queue; the public sale is open to all.

A proxy is worth it only against a real obstacle — you are in a meeting or a lecture at that hour, your card cannot pay a foreign merchant, or your group needs more than four tickets and therefore more than one account at once.

And the boundary, stated plainly: we camp and buy in the official on-sale, in the buyer’s name, at face value, with the service fee quoted in advance. We do not resell tickets and do not source from the resale market — the same answer we gave for Hanoi after it sold out.

Expect the resale market before the sale even opens

For a show this size, "deposit now to reserve your BIGBANG KL ticket" posts appear before the on-sale. Nobody holds a ticket before 22 September, so nobody can be holding one for you.

Three reasons to stop: a deposit demanded for a ticket that does not exist yet; a price below Fantopia’s own; or pressure to pay immediately. And the receiving account must be in the same name as the person messaging you.
